Great reading, it was an eye opener as I never looked at this aspect. The Quran also narrates the story of Hazrat Daud, who could understand the language of birds and animals and insects and could communicate with them. Also, one learnt from the book that ants did have the powers of observation and could communicate with each other.
I also observe with interest the birds which would land in the lawn when I would sit there in the morning and appear to feel completely safe and at times try and communicate. Surprisingly, the menacing crows also become mild and friendly after a while and land on the lawn with the mainas and other birds. Yes we need to respect birds and animals and give them their space and the right to co-exist. Enjoyed reading the article.
